Results-oriented ABA Therapy
Why ABA Therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a research-based approach designed to help children with developmental needs and behavior issues learn vital skills. The central goal of ABA is to increase positive behaviors and decrease harmful ones by employing reinforcement techniques.

ABA therapy is particularly effective in enhancing social skills, play skills, functional communication and adaptive skills especially when initiated early and delivered intensively during the critical developmental years. Therapy programs are structured yet adaptable, providing personalized plans that consider a child's unique strengths and challenges.

It equips parents with effective strategies to support their children's development, which can enhance family dynamics. With a focus on evidence-based methods, ABA therapy aims to foster a better quality of life for children and their families.

ABA Therapy Procedures We Offer
At Proficio Therapy, we understand that every child needs an individual therapy approach for a positive and effective outcomes. Whether the child needs one-on-one sessions, group therapy, or real-life situational training, our highly trained behavior therapists use various techniques and strategies to help children with behavioral issues. We help them reach their full potential by providing personalized interventions along with a step-by-step approach to treatment.
Discrete Trial Training (DTT)
Discrete Trial Training (DTT) is a highly structured, One-on-one teaching approach used as part of ABA therapies. It involves breaking simple skills down to their most basic parts and teaching those skills to the child, in a step-by-step process.
Therapists repeatedly prompt a child for a response and reinforces correct responses.
Verbal Behavior (VB)
Verbal Behavior Training is a form of aba therapy that targets language and communication skills. It is based on the principles of ABA, a systematic approach to changing behavior through reinforcement. VB aims to teach children to communicate effectively by breaking down language into smaller, manageable parts. It emphasizes functional communication, which means teaching children to use language as a tool to get their needs met. Verbal Behavior is highly individualized and tailored to each child’s specific needs..
Natural Environment Training (NET)
Natural Environment Training, or NET, utilizes the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to teach children in the natural environment. Natural Environment Teaching, or NET for short, is all about using what comes naturally to help kids learn and grow their skills. For instance, when a child requests for a toy, they immediately get to play with it as a reward. This makes learning more fun and real for them because the rewards are directly related to what they just did.In teaching kids in their natural environment, it's important to keep them interested and help them learn new skills.
Natural Environment Teaching (NET) in ABA therapy is a really effective way to help improve behavior skills by using everyday interactions. It's all about starting with what the learner wants to do and making sure the teaching fits them perfectly, which helps learning stick because it happens in situations they face every day.
Our ABA Services and
Treatment Approach
At Proficio, we ensure that our approach includes the following six components to contribute to your child’s successful development and provide better outcomes from therapy sessions. The sooner therapy begins, the better the outcome.
1
Initial Consultation with family
The ABA journey with Proficio starts with the in-person discussion between the family, caretaker, and our clinical team to determine your child’s condition and the treatment needs.
2
In-Person Assessment
During the assessment, parents or caregivers are recommended to be a part of this stage as we collect all the required information to help identify the child’s treatment goals. This step also gives an opportunity for our BCBA experts to engage with your child and gain a preliminary understanding of the child’s skills.
3
Develop Comprehensive and Individualized Treatment Plan
Our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will develop a comprehensive treatment plan detailing the skill areas that will be addressed during ABA therapy sessions.
4
Assigning the Treatment Team
Based on a comprehensive understanding of the needs of your child, we will make sure that we have the right team assigned to your child consisting of a trained Behavior Technician, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
5
Therapy Schedule and Data Collection
Our clinical team will begin to work with your child during the hours and environment that are mutually agreed upon. Every therapy session and activity will be implemented based on the treatment plan and goals. The data we capture during the therapy session are documented and shared with the parents and/or caregivers.
6
Program Assessments and Parent Communication
